Jessie Randhawa is the newest member of PCN's marketing team. Born in the UK, she has traveled to Amsterdam to become a marketing genius in the Fintech and Payments industry.
I grew up in sunny Leeds and then moved to Liverpool for university, where I studied History. I studied History because I have always thought it to be the most interesting subject throughout my academic life. I even did my dissertation on poisoners - much to other peoples surprise!
After graduation, it was basically time for me decide what I should do with my life. I knew that I wanted to move to a major European city while gaining some great experience, so Amsterdam was a no brainer for me. I was absolutely ecstatic to join the PCN team. I love the company culture, the work ethic and everything in-between.
I had some marketing experience back in Liverpool where I did marketing and PR for a small, yet amazing charity. I really enjoyed the whole experience. Since my degree studies were revolved around researching and writing, marketing is great for me as it allows me to use these skills in a creative way.
I really enjoy thinking of and creating new content. For example, creating marketing videos is something which I have been able to take lead on in the past couple of weeks. I love that I have been given the opportunity to explore my ideas and take a new approach on things. This is why marketing is great, because you are constantly learning and growing to become better.
Outside of work, you will probably find me traveling around different European cities. I have my own travel blog which helps me to document where I have been and what I got up to. I also love discovering amazing restaurants, drinking gin and tonics and walking my little dog milo.
