This role is a combination of technical know-how and commercial nous. The client has it’s own fraud offering and looks to better that at every opportunitiy. However, the client believes that it should not be all about developing their inhouse solution in order to best serve the client. It should also be about seeking collaborative partnerships with other fraud prevention third party providers. This means buying into the competition … or does it? The attitude here is that if another company can best service their merchants needs, then why would you not want to work out the best solution for them together!
Therefore the role is about overseeing the development of the inhouse product and getting that to the best level it can be at. But also to build relationships with other third party providers that you believe are in a better position to support some of your merchants.
Drive the technical expertise and input during all sales activities and designing implementation solutions ensuring services are utilized in the best possible way for merchants, partners and end consumers
Advise newly signed merchants & partners on the technical implementation of our services to onboard them as frictionless as possible while ensuring excellent end user experience to generate profitable income
Increasing commercial success rate by designing material that supports the presentation of products demonstrating how they increase merchant’s business during sales pitches
Ownership: You will be part of that and driving your own sourcing activities for Payments. You will be steering your own commodity group, finding new suppliers, analysing and evaluating proposals, doing tenders, negotiating prices and contracts and building up your own commodity strategy together with your stakeholders.
Supplier Management: You will develop, establish and maintain cost effective, service oriented and quality focused long-term strategy supplier relationships in accordance with company objectives and industry best practices. You will be also responsible for developing and implementing functional supplier performance indicators.
Consulting: You will support and consult our client’s internal customers and stakeholders in terms of implementing and following their procurement processes and guidelines. You will ensure their client’s procurement needs are understood and be able to offer suitable solutions. You will act as an Ambassador of the Indirect Procurement team, enhancing a professional image with your proactive and hands-on attitude.
Collaboration: You will support your colleagues from the Indirect Procurement Project Team, mainly by working together on the implementation of the new eProcurement tool.
