Presales Consultant APAC

Our client is a Switzerland-based globally operating FinTech, provider of payments, finance, security and utility solutions. Having won several awards over the last couple of years, they cater to financial services companies, tier1 merchants and governmental organisations. They design, develop and live software at the highest level and drive the evolution of digital, mobile payment. Their software enables millions of credit card transactions to be processed securely.

Currently expanding outside of Europe, they are setting up an office in Singapore and looking for a Presales Specialist to cater to the APAC market.



  • Supporting the Sales team with technical expertise, cost estimates, validating technical requirements and providing appropriate product recommendations
  • Handle product demonstrations and presentations and attends meetings together with the Sales team
  • Support for pilots to be conducted by prospects
  • Respond to RFI’s, RFP’s, answer technical and product questions
  • Engage appropriate internal resources like sales, product management, product marketing, CSEs and others when necessary to help close opportunities
  • Responsible for the product cost-line, maintains and executes measures to maximize the project profitability
  • Working closely with customers to devise effective solutions ensuring the proposition is in line with the customer requirements
  • Providing ongoing support for customers post implementation and in the after-sales phase



  • Proven track record in a PreSales / Sales Consulting / Product Marketing or Sales Engineering role
  • The right person will possess significant technical acumen preferably within the Payment, Digital Payment, HCE, 3DS, Software or FinTech domain
  • Proven ability to conduct successful product pilots in client environment
  • Team player, high energy, positive attitude
  • Business maturity, decision-making, planning, & project management skills
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills are a must, as well as the ability to work effectively across internal and external organizations
  • Solid experience with CRM software (e.g. Salesforce) and MS Office (particularly MS Excel)
  • Strong presentation skills and the ability to articulate complex concepts to cross-functional audiences
  • Superb verbal and written communications skills in English are a must and additional local languages preferred
  • The role foresees 30% travel
