HR Compliance Manager

Location: Western Europe > Germany > Munich

Job Descriptions

  • Provide oversight on all processes and policies in the EMEA region to ensure that they are compliant with EU and local laws
  • Set up all new HR policies in any new offices in EMEA and make sure they are compliant with all legal requirements in their countries (e.g. benefits policy, maternity leave policy, sick leave policy, employee handbooks, etc).
  • Drafting of new contract templates, reference letter templates and other documents in accordance with the local legal requirements.
  • Carrying out external research and bench marking to ensure that we are a desirable and compliant employer in the respective market because of our terms and conditions
  • Liaising with local governments and respective institutions as required to clarify compliance requirements in each we country that we operate in country.
  • Lead the important ER cases from a compliance standpoint

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or higher
  • Around 6+ years of HR/Legal related experience.
  • Have a great understanding of labour/compliance laws and cultural distinctions within EMEA.
  • Experience in designing, developing and implementing compliance standards and documentation and providing any required staff training.
  • Strong business partner skills and HR acumen, including problem solving skills, critical thinking abilities, coaching skills, project management & leadership abilities.
  • Excellent organizational and analytical ability, as well as a record of effective cross-functional collaboration.
  • Humility, flexibility, and good interpersonal & client facing skills.
  • Highly proficient and excellent communication skills in English and German
