Partner & Business Development Manager

Location: Other EU regions > Austria > Vienna

Our client, a Swiss-based software company in the financial space, is currently looking for a Partner and Business Development Manager. This role has a focus on finding new parnterships, potentially upselling/extending these partnerships and working in channel sales. The role can be based in Vienna, Berlin, Munich, Paris or London

 

The Job

  • Identifying and approaching potential partners within the given territory (Integrators, Aggregators, etc.) as well as recruiting them for the product and service proposition from the given vertical

  • Manage and support the closure of a pipeline of customer opportunities developed with our partners

  • Effectively manage and measure partner enablement and go-to-market requests

  • Develop and calculate partner business models as well as innovative sales business models which are both relevant for the partner eco-system as well for the profitability of the product/service line

  • Together with the marketing team enable and support the Partners with the best possible product and market communication services

  • Clearly communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders

  • Budgeting and forecasting for the assigned territory

  • Prepare and maintain an account plan per partner and deliver key metric reports

 

Your Profile

  • Significant partner acquisition, channel sales, business development, and / or partner management experience in the software/technology industry – ideally with background in payments

  • Consistently exceeds goals and key performance metrics

  • Strong technical understanding (API), with a demonstrated record of accomplishment of driving emerging/disruptive technologies

  • Strong verbal and written communications skills are a must, as well as the ability to work effectively across internal and external organizations

  • Knowledge of the Fintech / Digital Enterprise eco-system (Healthcare, Governmental, Transport, Automotive, Media, Energy)

  • Solid experience with CRM software (e.g. Salesforce) and MS Office

  • Firm understanding of contractual frameworks and ability to comprehend legal context

  • Strong presentation skills and the ability to articulate complex concepts to cross-functional audiences

  • Full professional proficiency in spoken and written in English. Additional languages are a plus

  • The role foresees up to 50% travel

  • BA/BS degree
