Product Manager


Reporting to the Chief Product Officer, you will be working and impacting both the business and a technical space. One minute you will be formulating and sharing your vision on how we should go about making our customers successful (ISVs, Payment Service Providers, Integration Partners) the next you will be defining the specs and planning the next sprint with the Engineering team. This is a self-managing role with a person that understands the importance of getting into the action to get things done.


Product delivers on the company’s vision. Making ideas reality. Solving complex problems with simple, elegant and scalable solutions. Bringing a dose of magic into the commerce ecosystem (POS, Payments, eCommerce) by removing friction and enabling software companies to partner with ease with payment service providers.  This position can be virtually/remote based.

Your responsibilities will include:


  • Developing a strong understanding of our clients’ ecosystem and business opportunities – your insight helps us create our vision
  • Staying at the leading edge of technology and innovations relevant to the competitive landscape – we always want to be the leader
  • Working closely with the executive team and stakeholders (internal and external) to turn business objectives into a solid product strategy and product roadmap 
  • Translating the product roadmap into actionable product requirements, epics and user stories
  • Collaborating with the Engineering team to scope/cost product initiatives and manage the delivery sequence and timelines
  • Working hand in hand with the Engineering team, reviewing impediments, priorities and making tradeoffs to get things across the goal
  • Measuring the business outcome of product initiatives being shipped. Liaising with Sales, Marketing, Delivery and Support to gather customer feedback and constantly seek to improve existing/future products.  Internal voice of our customers
  • Creating product documentation, support collaterals


Previous Job Experience

  • 3+ years of product management experience on high-availability cloud-based platforms servicing retail or eCommerce merchants
  • 3+ years’ experience with payment specific applications, such as middleware/gateway for both Card Present and Card Not Present.  Integration experience
  • Strong sense of responsibility and ownership.  Wants to work within an organization and make a difference
  • Self-starter, data-driven, problem solver with a strong analytical mindset and at-ease in a fast-paced startup environment
  • Exceptional ability to grasp and articulate complex systems
  • 3+ years’ experience managing API products targeted at a developer-first audience
  • 3+ years’ experience as Product Knowledge within high-velocity Agile development teams
  • Being familiar with the semi-integrated offerings from terminal vendors like Ingenico, Verifone, PAX, is a Plus
  • Experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Zapier, Postman is a nice to have
  • Experience with Analytics platforms (Segment, Mixpanel, Amplitude, etc.)
  • Deep level of empathy towards customers, always seeking ways to help them achieve their goals
  • Natural ability to distinguish what is important from what is not and prioritize accordingly
  • Strong Communicator - Team player recognizing that over-communication is critical to the team’s success
