Our client is looking for a Senior Manager, Business Development - Global Payments (f/m/d) to join their Payments team in the heart of Berlin.

Your mission:

  • Deep understanding of wallets and the payment topics ranging across online/in-store payments, lending, loyalty and tracking the market trends to capture opportunities in line with the company vision

  • Supporting the global incubation of our ambitious wallet prject

  • Monetize and realise business opportunities

  • Initiate and build strong commercial relationships in payments with a variety of strategic partners internationally (issuers, acquirers, card schemes, wallet providers, etc.),

  • Communicating and liaising at all levels of the organization including product, tech, marketing, legal, operations, and clients

  • Negotiate partnership agreements

  • Create compelling presentations summarising deal terms, strategic fit, and cost-benefit of new initiatives 


Your skills:

  • 5+ years of project and business experience, preferably within payments or e-commerce space with exposure to wallets

  • B2B experience supporting commercial deals through the entire lifecycle; deal management, deal structuring, negotiation, and implementation 

  • You are an exceptional networker and communicator with high energy, self-starter with a hands-on mentality, proven commercial edge and entrepreneurial track record

  • Ability to quickly assess an opportunity’s potential, leveraging fact-based analysis and industry experience

  • Demonstrated ability to work with large, cross-functional (e.g. product, sales, strategy, marketing) and cross-regional teams, coordinating multiple initiatives at once 

  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills, solid interpersonal skills and the proven ability to influence and communicate effectively across regional and functional lines
