Key Account / Senior Customer Success Manager

Our client is a fast-growing online payments solutions company that started out in the UK and is now also in Berlin. They are processing over 150 different currencies and offer one integration to their merchants with which international cards and local payment methods can be accessed. They want to meet the customer’s needs by partnering with smart companies for which they need smart employees.

For their team in Berlin they are looking for a Key Account Manager/Senior Customer Success Manager who will establish Customer Success Management throughout the location in Berlin and define the role. Dealing with main key accounts and nurturing this relationship and maintain it in the long-term will be the main focus.  

Key Responsibilities

  • Account development plans tailored to the merchants
  • Building long-term consultative and strong relationships
  • Supporting merchants with guidance, expertise and education in executing their global payments strategy
  • Cross-functional collaborating within the company to deliver high quality to clients
  • Usage of SalesForce to track and keep overview of projects
  • Being informed about local trends like customer needs, sales, product and marketing information and competitor insights and sharing ideas and feedback about it

What you need

  • 4-5 years’ experience in Relationship Management, B2B Account Management or Customer Success position in Payments or FinTech
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Sound knowledge about major eCommerce and payments technologies, trends and players
  • Ability to act dynamic and flexible to changing requirements and to manage multiple opportunities at the same time
  • Excellent skills in relationship building with assigned customers
  • Fluent in English and German is a MUST
