Business Development Executive- Online Payments

Our client, an international payments technology company that specializes in mobile payments and online payments is seeking a Business Development Executive. The ideal candidate will identify prospects within North America. The ideal candidates have a proven ability to plan, execute and close the types of deals that will contribute to the financial objectives of the company

 

Job Description

  • Lead generation (Contacting prospects via phone, e-mail, personal, and business networks)
  • Build multi-level decision making relationships with your prospects
  • Represent the organization at selected industry events
  • Travel consistently (approx. 50%) in the region to conduct face to face meetings
  • Project manage customers as they move through the sales cycle, with a strong focus on reducing time to market
  • Manage expectations of clients and internal stakeholders through clear communication
  • Strong advisory role on e-commerce developments in the region and the vertical market
  • Forecasting to sales management

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 5+ years proven sales track record in a quota carrying B2B sales role targeting companies with a global client base
  • B2B consultative sales experience is required
  • Prior experience in the payments industry or SaaS is a plus
  • Comfortable with Excel and the use of CRM tools/Salesforce
  • Candidates are expected to be conversant in payments and technology and have a solid understanding of the e-commerce landscape
  • Experience in a multicultural business environment and/or a prior role within a global company
  • Ability to travel and can work remotely.
