About the Job

  • As the VP of Sales, you will be responsible for managing the growing sales and business development team, maximizing their collective potential, tirelessly analyzing performance analytics, attracting key additions to the team and driving new business initiatives for the company
  • The ability to effectively create and evaluate metrics to measure team and individual successes
  • Experience evaluating metric analytics and changing methods and strategies as needed
  • The ability to build strong, successful teams, evaluating strengths, identifying weaknesses, and adapting as needed
  • The ability to recognize each team member's motivations and create an environment to leverage strengths and improve on weaknesses through effective performance management and mentorship
  • A creative, innovative personality: you're constantly thinking outside the box
  • A professional acumen and the ability the communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
  • A strong grasp of different technologies and tools needed by the sales team to be successful
  • A proficient understanding of technology enterprise solution sales
  • An understanding of the needs of a market; able to draw on experience to "speak the language" of those to whom you sell

About You

  • Proven ability to manage relationship-based selling, to sell complex solutions, and to manage detailed sales cycles
  • A solid background and understanding of proven sales methodologies
  • Proven ability to sell to C-level decision makers
  • Proven ability to motivate and champion the sales process across the entire company to gain support as needed to succeed
  • A proven track record of exceptional team and individual performance, coupled with success in achieving a level of sustainable value to the business
