About the Client

Our client is a payment service provider that processes payments, including card, online bank transfers and SEPA direct debit, for eCommerce merchants. Their unique offering consits of a combination of payment methods, tailored industry-specific solutions, transaction risk management tools and flexible value added services.

The Mission is to deliver outstanding value added services, Risk Management and Self-Service Reporting-Systems as well as offering flexible customer focused solutions at the highest level.

To achieve this, they are looking for an experienced Senior Sales Manager willing and able to be on board from the very beginning – to participate and shape the solution.

About the Job

Your tasks and areas of responsibility:

  • Create the international sales strategy in close collaboration with your Line Manager
  • Cooperate with the Business Leader on a daily basis
  • Use your network to open doors and create opportunities for the company
  • Define, implement and manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting to closing deals
  • Develop and monitor marketing activities
  • Achieve and exceed defined sales targets
  • Provide excellent customer service by understanding customers‘ business and needs
  • Provide accurate sales reporting and forecasting
  • Build, maintain and strengthen lasting relationships with clients
  • Generate and develop a qualified sales pipeline and generate new revenue growth

About You

  • Minimum 3 years Sales experience within the Payment Industry
  • Proven track-record in Sales, Business Development & Marketing
  • Sound understanding of the payments industry – especially familiar with payments of digital goods
  • Fluent in English; good command of German is appreciated
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • “Hands-on”- and “can do”-attitude
  • Willingness to do considerable travelling
  • Entrepreneurial spirit, perseverance and focused on goals
