Our client is an international established payments acquirer. Who are looking for a sales individual to work remotely to build up their client base in the Benelux region. As a Business Development Manager in the Benelux region you will be responsible for building out a client base, with a focus on this region.

The position is a remote position and provides the freedom and flexibility a strong individual sales contributor would want.


Responsibilities : 

  • Acquiring new clients through standard procedures such as prospecting, networking and cold calling
  • Keep and maintain a strong sales pipeline of potential opportunities in assigned territory
  • Developing and executing strategic sales plans for each opportunity
  • Participating in sales calls and meetings to determine appropriate resources or representation by other departments to win and close the deal
  • Building and developing relationships to work with key client at all levels
  • Maintain CRM to ensure managers can track progress of your pipeline remotely
  • Keep up to date on latest payment and industry trends within your assigned territory

Essential Skills : 

  • 3+ Years selling a payment solution (ex. PSP/Acquirer)
  • Prior B2B sales or client relationship management experience is also a bonus
  • A proven track record of closing business in strategic accounts and achieving assigned sales quota
  • Strong autonomy skills and being able to work alone
  • Capacity to develop and deliver presentations, ability to create, compose and edit written proposals and sales materials
  • Maintaining professionalism and projecting a positive image of the company
  • Experience in interacting at senior level with various business partners across the organisation
  • Fluent in English and additional language applicable to your territory
  • Willingness to travel
  • Market mapping and market landscape analysis skills
  • Comfortable with contract management
