A Programme Manager is required for at least 12 months to work on a major, international IT transfer and integration project. You will need to be full time based in Munich with some travel to the US as and when required and you will be working for a leading financial services organisation.
Expect a 12 month contract to begin with but expectations are the project could run on longer.
You must have an understanding of issuing and experience in managing complex, large scale IT transition projects. You will need to have a hands on mentality and passionate, deep understanding of IT infrastructure.
Knowledge of payment processing would be a bonus.
You will be overseeing at a high-level approximately six work streams and you will be required to coordinate the technical delivery teams to ensure deadlines are achieved or any areas, which may not be on schedule, are identified. You will need to keep a status check on all technical contracts, understand the technical requirements, platform gaps and required features etc.
You will be handling the client and 3rd party vendors which are involved and both coordinating and managing their expectations and delivery.
You will be working in an Agile and international environment, which will involve some work in the US. English is the business language and German is not required.
- Complex IT Programme Management experience in transition / integration
- Knowledge of issuing
- Hands on with a deep understanding of IT infrastructure
- Soft skills – able to work in and lead in an agile environment
- Flexibility and willingness to lead and guide others
- Knowledge of Payment processing would be a bonus
- Ability to use Microsoft PMM tools
This is challenging Programme Management position for at least 12 months in Munich working on a key global infrastructure project.
