About the Client

Our client is a global provider of payment solutions and aims to offer their merchants and consumers the best payment and checkout experience. Due to the growth of the company, they are looking for a proactive and strategic thinker with a go getter attitude who will join their Global Partnership team as a Payment & Product Partnerships Manager. The team's primary focus is to support our client’s growth by connecting with the right partners.

About the Job

  • Take responsibility for supporting several payment partnerships where you will contribute to creating a strong relationship on the day to day basis
  • Strategically grow and manage existing and new partnerships
  • Be a Subject Matter Expert and evangelist of payment and product requirements towards partners, processes and the technical setup towards the business
  • Work directly with different vendors on ensuring that their technical setup is ready to support our client’s growth
  • Control costs and sign profitable contracts with external parties
  • Monitor, build and share knowledge of all costs related to payment fees and partnership profitability
  • Understand the partnerships and integrations in its current state as well as their future challenges and implications for the implementation process and communicate this clearly to different stakeholders
  • Build a strong knowledge in the payments ecosystem, our client’s merchant base and segments, consumer products and see how it corresponds to the requirements of e.g. Schemes, PSPs, Acquirers, Banks etc. and how their Payments and Product Partners can power those products

About You

  • Academic background
  • Have a deep understanding of the payments industry. More specifically eCommerce acquiring
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the payments domain
  • Strong analytical and negotiation skills
  • Experience as a project manager and good at stakeholder management
  • Experience negotiating new and renegotiating existing contracts
  • Understanding of the tech part behind payments
  • Fluent in English
  • Open to travel regularly
