About the Client

Our client is a technology and financial services provider offering a full range of solutions to their clients worldwide. As part of the growth of their financial institutions and FinTech vertical in Europe there is need for a high caliber individual to manage and own the relationship for Key FinTech accounts with a key focus on delivering incremental YoY growth of those accounts via cross selling additional services and optimizing the current program EDBITDA contribution.

The vertical has over 25 customers now arranging across all Wirecard product sets and varying in size and degree of complexity. The growth potential for FinTech customers via cross sell and increased growth via product enhancement is significant.

About the Job

  • Own all aspects of the operational, tactical and strategic relationship with Key Accounts and deliver well thought out, structured plans for their growth
  • Investigate and understand the commercial business models of Key Accounts. Implement changes to our client’s services/commercials to ensure alignment, where relevant
  • Assist in delivering the FI & FinTech vertical growth and profitability strategy by suggesting and implementing initiatives to grow and optimize Key Accounts
  • Deliver plan to manage the Key Account Management of clients with the team for sign off
  • Design and implement Key Account handover process with Sales and implement
  • Coordinate with the wider team on event strategy and ensure that clients are aware and contributing to our marketing/event efforts
  • Willingness to travel
  • Be proactive in seeking opportunities to deliver more revenue growth to the team

About You

  • Fluency in English is a must. German preferred.
  • Strong payments knowledge/experience with demonstrable ability to understand full payment value chain
  • Excellent MS Office skills
  • Strong organizational ability
  • Proven negotiation capacity
  • Understanding of financial impacts of account revenue positions
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently as part of a wider team
