About the Client

An IT Technical Lead is required to work on the technical development of new infrastructure which is related to opportunities under PSD2. Our client is working on a number of new products and opportunities and needs to both develop the products itself and the underlying IT infrastructure, which is where this position comes in.

Experience in fintech, start-ups and a start-up mindset are key! Although, you will be working within a large organisation with an existing team made up of highly experienced individuals with backgrounds in banking, Payments and Data Science.

About the Job

Your main goal is to develop new financial services engine as the centrepiece of a new eco system which generates analysis and recommendations based on transaction and other data. Customers can connect to this eco system via API’s and offer their products and services.

You will be working in a start-up type team and you’re main high level responsibilities will be drawing the process flow, architecture and coordinating how technical aspects of the project should be arranged.

Expect a three month initial contract with a first stage gate process in April 2018, and if successful, a further three month contract etc. Ultimately this position and work could run on further and there very likely will be other projects coming into the PSD2 team for development as 2018 goes on.

About You

  • Start-up mindset
  • Hands on experience of modern IT infrastructure
  • PSD2 knowledge
  • API knowledge
  • Basic knowledge of payments industry would be an advantage

This is a very exciting Lead tech position working on new opportunities under PSD2. If you are interested in discussing it further please contact me directly.
