Our client is a technology and financial services provider offering a full range of solutions to their clients worldwide. For their financial institutions business unit they are looking for a head of sales who can grow the team and activities in Europe.

About the Job

  • Provide expertise in Issuing, Acquiring, Digital Services and Digital Banking
  • Manage Financial Institutions & Fintech Sales business with the aim to provide operations and service to achieve and deliver prescribed levels of satisfaction for all stakeholders
  • Responsible for financial targets and objectives of FI & Fintech business - coordinate sales forecasting, planning and budgeting processes within the FI & Fintech vertical
  • Develop business plans and budgets in coordination with business heads, provide input to senior leadership
  • Proactively identify and facilitate with sales team an organization of continuous process improvement in sales and working practices
  • Lead a team; provide direct reports with developmental support and guidance on processes and policies
  • Represent FI & Fintech vertical at conferences and events

About You

  • Based in Munich or willing to relocate
  • 8-10 years' experience in sales and a proven track record in banking environments, financial services or IT related industries
  • Sales management experience in a business-to-business sales environment
  • Distinctive network in European banking/payment world
  • Demonstrate proficiency in managing analytically rigorous initiatives, is organized and structured
  • Fluent communication and presentation skills in English, fluency in one other European language is an advantage
  • Team player - must be able to collaborate in a virtual team, coordinating the appropriate resources to meet varying client requirements, have a high degree of commitment and flexibility
  • Excellent MS Office skills, willing to travel
