Your core tasks and responsibilities

  • You set the strategy and develop a business plan to attain this vision
  • You negotiate with potential new partner banks, and when successful, you lead the onboarding phase as the business owner
  • You analyze market trends, the funding requirements of banks and you provide input for the further strategic development of our platform
  • You develop and execute business development initiatives and sales partnerships for Germany
  • You are responsible for the region’s forecasting and sales tracking
  • You take ownership of responsibilities, overcome obstacles, and deliver on commitments


  • 7 to 10 years in a senior role in payments, e-commerce or the financial service industry
  • Strong and established banking network within Germany preferable to CEOs, CFOs and treasurers
  • Professional experience in execution of projects in the banking/financial services or key account management
  • Proven executing and closing skills
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication, outstanding presentation capabilities and strong interpersonal skills
  • Willingness to travel extensively throughout your specified region
  • Highly motivated, proactive, autonomous working, entrepreneurial spirit and team player
  • Candidates are expected to be conversant in payments and technology, and have a solid understanding of the e-commerce landscape
  • (Preferred) Prior experience in the payments industry
  • (Preferred) Industry experience in a key vertical market (travel/retail/digital goods and services in tech disrupter industry)
