POSITION SUMMARY

We are currently looking for an ATM Engineer who has a role as a senior developer with good Agile experience, C++/C#, to specifically work on ATM application software solutions and APTRA Activate.

Key areas of responsibilities:

  • Design, develop and document software to control self-service checkout kiosks
  • Design, develop and document test procedures and software to validate functionality
  • Software unit test, develop Unit Test Specifications and supporting integration and systems testing
  • Provide estimates of effort, schedule, and size of change to Project Manager
  • Regular progress reporting on schedule, quality & size of change
  • Development, support and ownership of ATM application software solutions, including APTRA Activate, APTRA Interactive Teller and Activate Enterprise, debugging to product and component/configuration level
  • Multiple issues of varying complexity and stage of investigation to be managed at any given time to the satisfaction of the relevant customer
  • Customizing flows (Balance, Transfer, Deposit, and Withdrawal) for different customers
  • Ability to design and write well-structured and robust code using C# and XML
  • DLL file handling
  • Strong debugging ability, comfortable with peer code reviews
  • Assist in the development of design and test specifications
  • Design verification and validation support
  • Providing technical support to the team

Qualification requirements:

  • Having Industry experience of nearly 5-6 years on Windows with ASP.NET, C# .Net, XML
  • Having Industry experience of nearly 1-2 years on HTML5/Angular JS/WPF (XAML)
  • C, C++ is a strong plus
  • ATM domain expertise, XFS (CEN) platform expertise, Activate working experience and knowledge on Activate Enterprise
  • Understand different ATM transactions flow, ATM transactions interaction with Switch/ live host via NDC/ISO 8583 protocol/ message, NDC message analysis
  • Knowledge on different layers of an ATM application (Device driver’s/ Service provider’s/ ATM application)
  • Knowledge on different device variants of hardware devices (CDM, BNA, SDM, Receipt printer, Pin pad, Card reader, CPM, SCPM and GBRU)
  • Knowledge on different variants of ATM core machines (Pele, Pivat, Talladega, Pocono and Riverside)
  • Operating System – Windows 7 & Windows 10
  • A working knowledge of UML, in particular sequence diagrams and class diagrams
  • Experience in Win32 (Event, Mutex, Critical Section, etc)
  • Good knowledge on multi-threading
  • Virtual memory management knowledge
  • Knowledge in using IDE (Integrated Development Environment), preferably using Visual Studio
  • Knowledge in version control preferably using SVN (Subversion)
  • Should be aware of working with repositories like SVN or CVS
  • Ability for scope of project estimation as it applies to the software development processes
