“Representing over 100 members is a real achievement for the organisation,” comments Philippe Martineau, President of the Board at OSPT Alliance. “It demonstrates the momentum OSPT Alliance continues to build and the crucial role it plays in bringing together the global mobility industry to increase innovation and interoperability across ‘mobility as a service’ solutions.
“Moreover, it has been particularly exciting to see such high levels of growth in Latin America. This development of the membership reflects increasing interest in the CIPURSE™ Specification across the region, and we look forward to developing our work across this market, and beyond.”
CIPURSE has matured as ‘the’ open, non-proprietary standard for transport ticketing, but its applications extend far beyond, including ID, access control and micro-payments. With deployments spanning continents, the standard is continuing to add value to a number of diverse projects, offering a truly universal, flexible and cost-effective platform for innovation.
