N26 Publicly Launches in the US with a Loyalty Programme “Perks”

After a two-month beta program, customers can download N26 app directly from Google Play and Apple App Store and open an account in less than 5 minutes. Alongside the launch, you can spot the new N26 brand campaign on buses and trains across New York, San Francisco and Chicago.

"We are excited to now open up N26 to the millions of US consumers who are frustrated with their current banking experience. We give users a banking app and Visa debit card that matches their lifestyles," says Nicolas Kopp, US CEO, N26 Inc.

New Features

The new loyalty programme “Perks” which is available for both standard and premium users, will allow customers to enjoy up to 10% of their most loved monthly subscriptions when paying with their N26 account. Currently, the subscriptions are limited to a fitness app Aaptiv, micro-learning app Blinkist, podcast platform Luminary and a streaming platform TIDAL. More subscriptions are added everyday and you can find the updated list in the app.

On top of that, N26 will include a feature that allows users in the US to receive their salary up to two days earlier when setting up direct deposit with their N26 accounts. Each account also comes with Spaces, which are sub-accounts that help N26 users organise and achieve their financial goals. Currently, Spaces is only available in Europe and is scheduled to appear in the US at a later stage.
